Crystal has been working as a Caregiver, fulfilling the promise she made to her stepfather who raised her. She helped him during her teenage years with diabetic care and later with the amputation of his right leg. With this experience, she realized that she enjoyed caring for others. So, she decided to take her promise a step further and opened an Assisted Living Home to give our elderly the need of high quality care.
Richard has been in the healthcare field for over 40 years.
After 6 years in the U.S. Navy, he went to work as an Orderly for his hometown hospital. He then worked in the Emergency Department as an EMT for 15 years. Later, he decided to pursue a different route in life. So, he returned to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and started working in Long Term Care taking care of seniors for the next 10 years.
Richard and his wife moved to Arizona in 2007, where he worked in Home Health and Assisted Living. In 2018, he decided once again to further his education and become an Assisted Living Manager, and has been managing ever since.
He brings into the home, hands-on experience and compassion for each and every one of the residents.
My name is Karen, and I have been working as a caregiver for 4 years. This experience has helped me grow and has given me a different perspective on life, making me appreciate the importance of it even more. I moved to Arizona a couple of months ago because there were limited opportunities in the Caregiver field in Washington. 6 years ago, my father was diagnosed with diabetes, and I took on the responsibility of caring for him. I promised that I would look after him as he aged and since that day, I have discovered my true passion.
I've been working in the caregiving field for over thirty years. It's not just a job, it's a passion for me. I love what I do and take it very seriously. I also love to cook, dance, and enjoy life. Everyone deserves to be happy, and I try to ensure everyone I work with feels that way.
